Vision Loss Warrior
From Doubt and Fear… to Bold and Thriving
The Vision Loss Warrior is about owning your journey — because the priority is living well.
It’s the moment you choose confidence over hesitation.
The moment you accept support as strength.
The moment you step forward visibly, intentionally, and without apology.
Using a long cane. Working with a guide dog. Building your support network.
These are not signs of limitation — they are tools of independence.
This is strength through acceptance.
This is confidence through visibility.
This is the power of wellbeing.
What We Do
The Vision Loss Warrior turns lived experience into action.
We speak openly about the realities of vision loss — the emotional shifts, the resistance to using mobility aids, the identity changes, and the rebuilding of confidence.
Through mentoring, education, media engagement, and community presence, we:
Support individuals navigating vision loss
Educate future teachers, allied health professionals, and support workers
Partner with media, schools, and corporate organisations
Demonstrate that living well with vision loss is practical, possible, and powerful
We don’t fight the world.
We live fully within it — and invite others to do the same.
Why We Do It
Because this is lived experience — not theory.
I have walked this journey. I have faced uncertainty, frustration, and moments of rock bottom. Through those experiences, I learned something life-changing:
Acceptance is not defeat.
It is the foundation of wellbeing.
When we resist support, we stay stuck.
When we embrace it, we move forward.
The Vision Loss Warrior exists to model that shift — from fear to confidence, from isolation to connection, from surviving to thriving.
Together with Live Well With Vision Loss, the Vision Loss Warrior transforms experience into empowerment.

Vision Loss Warrior Products
Wear the Story. Own the Journey.
Our Vision Loss Warrior products are statement pieces for everyday life — T-shirts, rashes, hats, and accessories designed for confidence, identity, and connection.
Created in collaboration with contemporary Indigenous Australian artist Zach Bennett-Brook of Saltwater Dreamtime, each design reflects storytelling, resilience, community, and belonging.
Indigenous art connects us to land, identity, and history. As people living with vision loss, we are storytellers too. Through this collaboration, the vision loss journey is expressed through colour, movement, strength, and heart.
These pieces are designed to be worn in daily life — at work, on the track, in the surf, at events, and in community. They spark conversation. They express pride. They celebrate visibility.
10% of profits from all Vision Loss Warrior products go directly to the Live Well With Vision Loss Australian Hardship Fund, supporting Australians experiencing financial hardship alongside vision loss.
When you wear these pieces, you’re not just wearing art.
You’re wearing confidence.
You’re wearing connection.
You’re helping someone live well.
Real experience.
Real insight.
Real impact.
Meet the Artist
The Vision Loss Warrior collection was created in collaboration with Zach Bennett-Brook, founder of Saltwater Dreamtime — a contemporary Indigenous art brand grounded in storytelling, identity, and connection.
Zach’s work blends traditional cultural narratives with bold, modern expression. His art speaks of land, belonging, resilience, and movement — themes that deeply align with the journey of living with vision loss.
From the moment I encountered his work, the colour, energy, and emotion resonated. Indigenous art tells stories. And as people navigating vision loss, we are storytellers too. Through this collaboration, the vision loss journey is expressed through strength, community, visibility, and pride.
This partnership is more than design — it is connection. It honours culture, celebrates identity, and brings meaning to every piece in the Vision Loss Warrior collection.
When you wear these designs, you are wearing story.
